Pani Poni Dash - Funnier than getting kicked in the nads
So, I started watching Pani Poni Dash. I originally watched the first three episodes, but when I realized how funny it was I started on the rest. This is one of the funniest shows I’ve seen recently. The show seems to be filled with culture specific references that the subbers have tried very hard to note. I have to pause it every once in a while to catch up with the extra notes.
I know some will not find it as funny as I do, but I though I would help demonstrate the funniness, hence the title of this post....(more)...

Opps, I was reading the ANN listing for Pani Poni Dash. Apparently, ADV had announced it had the license back in April. Ethics demands that I either buy or rent the DVD's now...
You say it like it's the next Excel Saga. I meant that in a good way. :)
The first few episodes of Excel Saga were laugh out loud funny - especially if you were able to catch all the in-jokes. After that, though, it turned into a mediocre comedy.
I stopped watching Excel Saga when it started to get less and less funny. From what I've heard (eg Michael) I made a good call.
From what I can tell about Pani Poni Dash, it's way funnier than Excel.
