Animenano Podcast #4 - Like like like like like like like like like like like...like like
The Animenano podcast is a lifesaver. It gives me something interesting to blog about because I’ve been really slacking on the anime watching front. Today we had the usual hung and jpmeyer. The “guest” commentor today was Problematic of Equivocal Resolution. I had never been to her blog, so I can’t make fun of it....(more)... Get a listen to Problematic’s "french" here.
I would like to apologize to Hung for implicating him on the “like” usage in my last post. Hung uses it quite often but JP is like a “like” churning machine. I must have had some type of brain fart or something, because I really didn’t notice it until this podcast. Either that or I somehow got Hung and JP mixed up, probably not. It could be that I wrote the post on nano podcast #3 while not having slept for ~30 hours. Plus, I write a quickie post after listening to the podcast, so I’m bound to get things a little mixed up, but that’s just part of the fun for me.
They go over the “mailbag” for a considerable chunk of the show. In between mail items they go off in random directions. The rest of the show was composed of other anime topics that were on “the list.”
I don’t agree with jpmeyer’s take on ADV dubs. I actually like a lot of the ADV voice actor’s work. Usually, I use the dubs rather than listen to the Japanese tracks if for nothing more than ease of viewing.
Uhmmm. . .Problematic has a mouth like a sailor.
Commentor proposed funds:
1) Hinano headset fund
2) Jpmeyer new computer fund
3) Bust Problematic out of Canada fund
About Problematic’s comment on VLC subtitles: I think the VLC project is looking for people to code that. There is a shortage of developers and they haven’t had the time to really trick out the subtitle modules.
Jpmeyer knows EVERYTHING about anime, it’s freaking crazy!
This is a long one, make sure you have better than an hour to listen. Also, make sure you listen until the very end too.

Hey, don't forget about the "Send Hung on a Yaoi Tour" fund!
Also, your blog's old enough to put on Anime Nano. So submit it if you like.
Ah, I had forgotten that one.
Ya'll are going to have to sell a lot of T-shirts.
